Adobo Chicken
Ingredients
3 large boneless skinless chicken breasts
2 to 4 chipolte peppers packed in adobo sauce
2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp onion powder
1 tsp cumin
1 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 15 oz can tomato sauce
1 tsp brown sugar
1 tsp salt
Prep
Directions
Add all ingredients to your crockpot or slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for eight hours or on high for four hours.
30 minutes before serving, use two forks to shred chicken. Stir the chicken in the sauces inside the slow cooker and cook another 30 minutes to let the chicken to soak up the juices. Serve with cooked rice, veggies, cilantro and diced avocado if desired.
Note: choose how many chipotle peppers to use based on how spicy you want the chicken to be.
