Pasta with Asparagus

Ingredients

  • Garlic cloves minced

  • 1 tsp red pepper

  • 2-3 dashes hot pepper sauce

  • 1/4 cup olive oil

  • 1 tsp butter

  • 1lb fresh asparagus

  • Salt

  • pepper

  • 1/4 cup shredded Parmesan

  • 1/2 lb elbow pasta

Prep

  • cut asparagus into 1 1/2” pieces

  • cook elbow pasta and drain

Directions

In a skillet, cook garlic, pepper flakes and sauce in oil and butter 2-3 minutes. Add asparagus, salt and pepper, and cook until crisp and tender, about 8-10 minutes. Add parmesan, mix well. Pour over hot pasta to coat. Serve.
